LSA Model Performance Sheet
A word about performance: The Flyer is a derivative of the Phoenix. That design was wind tunnel tested and we got excellent correlation between our analytically predicted performance results and the results from the wind tunnel tests. Now, as the old saying goes, “The proof of the pudding is in the eating” and we?re not about to go out on a limb and tell you that the numbers below are exactly what you?re going to get but they ought to be in the ball park. The exact numbers, of course, will come from flight test. Note: The Flyer Empty Weight is 651 pounds while the Maximum Gross Weight is 1241 pounds. The numbers given are for a weight of approximately 1150 pounds. This payload would consist of a 210 pound man, a 120 pound woman, 50 pounds baggage and 20 gallons fuel.
